STORY REVIEW: This is a story of a father and his two daughters. Bolatito (Bimbo Oshin) was the first daughter and Damilola (Eniola Kadiri) was the second daughter. Their mother Iya Bolatito (Peju Ogunmola) had a mental illness. They tried many things to ensure that their mother would have good health once more but nothing seemed to be working so they decided to bring her back home where she would be under close supervision. Bolatito was engaged to a man called Seyi (Odunlade Adekola). Seyi was a very jovial person and he was also talkative and funny and he seemed responsible and for those reasons Bolatito’s father (Yinka Quadri) grew fond of him. Damilola was also in a serious relationship with a guy called Kola (Kazim Sanusi) but Kola was different form Seyi in fact he was the complete opposite of Seyi he was quiet and not as jovial as Seyi so Bolatito’s father did not like him. Bolatito’s father was worried that any man that would want to marry any of his daughters was only marrying them for the money and for the properties so he was hell bent on finding out if Seyi and Kola were the right guys for his daughters but, he was already convinced that Seyi was a good man and Kola wasn’t that good. He kept on discouraging Damilola from continuing her relationship with Kola because he didn’t like his behavior because he was quiet in a strange way. Damilola however never stopped trying to convince her father that Kola was a very good man. Bolatito’s father went ahead to buy a car for Seyi. Seyi was very happy and thanked him well and when Kola greeted him he didn’t respond. Little did he know that Seyi was only a player and was with Bolatito for the properties that she would inherit form her father. Meanwhile, Kola had begun to sense that Bolatito’s father didn’t t like him and he told Damilola but, she assured him that everything would be fine. One day Bolatito’s father invited Seyi and Kola to his house with the plan of showing both of them the mother of the girls they want to marry and whoever stays is a good man worthy of his daughters. When the two men saw the “mad” woman they were both very scared but Kola stayed behind and offered to help the woman gain her sanity. Seyi on the other hand ran away and never called Bolatito again. Later in the movie we found out that Bolatito’s father was responsible for the illness of his wife because he used her sanity as a ritual to bring him wealth and the day somebody heals her he would die that was the reason why he never did anything serious to help her. At the end of the day Kola took his wife’s mother to a herbalist and she was healed and Bolatito’s father died.
