In trying to achieve this, Jane’s mother arranges her late father’s best friends son for her Daniel(Chidi Mokeme). When Daniel heard about the arrangement, he totally disagreed with his Father ; saying his father is still living in the stone age. His father persuaded him and eventually, he agreed to marry her. Surprisingly, when Jane was told by her mummy about the arrangement she did not even argue she accepted; but she actually accepted on the basis of what her mother told her because her mother told her that if she gets married to Daniel that it will be a” boost” to her father’s business. The initial intention behind the marriage arrangement was because the companies of both families are coming together to be one.
After the wedding, Jane’s younger sister Nichole travels to Abuja ; in Abuja, she attended a night party and mistakenly slept with her sister’s husband and got pregnant for him. She claimed she did not know him. It was after she came back to Lagos that she found out that her sisters fiancé was the man she slept with.
After their wedding, Jane and her husband always had series of misunderstanding because they never understood each other before they got married and Jane did not love her husband; because she got married to him on business grounds. it was During the period of the misunderstanding that Jane and her mother got involved in a fatal motor accident ; that claimed the life of her mother ; Jane sustained injuries on her legs and this caused her to use walking sticks. Despite her bad attitude, her husband proved his love for her by taking very good care of her throughout her ordeal.
When Jane got to know that her sister was pregnant for her husband, she files for a divorce; but after one month she withdraws the divorce saying that she has grown to love Daniel.
