Plot: This intriguing film, white waters is one about a boy Melvin (O.C. UKEGI) who was seen as a failure by everyone around him including his parents, and was eventually sent to the village by his mother who had given up on him, to stay with his grandmother (JOKE SILVER) as his step father’s wish. Melvin grew up to be a very lonely and timid young man who always liked to run to doctor’s place when going to get drugs for his sick grandmother until one day when he was forcefully challenged to a race by the best runner in the local government athletic team, and to everybody’s surprise, Melvin bit him.
He was invited to join the team by the coach and gradually his loneliness and timidity began to die as he fell in love with a female athlete Norlah (Rita Dominic). He was trained by the coach and made to run for the team during the relay race, but unfortunately, he failed which led to the dismissal of him and the coach from the team.
Later on, the coach was called to train another team for a national race, and he put Melvin in his team. After a rigorous training, Melvin represented his team in the race and beat the arrogant Banji in the race again to everyone’s surprise.

The domineering camera shot, that was used in the film was close-up-shot, long shots were also used during the race competitions, trainings, e.t.c.
