PLOT:

The film centers on two major characters namely: Baba Tawa (Bolaji Amusa) and Baba Moria (Muyiwa Adegoke)

These two are cast as bosom friends who through most of the film face the sometimes hilarious hardships thrown at them by their spouses and by life in general.

The two men are poverty stricken indeed and this causes their homes to be the opposite of most African homes in which the man is the head of the house, their wives (Iya Tawa and Iya Moria) are the breadwinners.

In the course of the movie, the two men decide to better their fortune which they do by consulting an herbalist. The herbalist they consult instructs them to bring the under wears of both their wives. The two men without telling one another inwardly decide not to go ahead with the ritual because of the harsh side effects the ritual might have on the their wives whom they dearly love.

However as time goes on Baba Tawa becomes rich and Baba Moria remains poor. Baba Tawa’s sudden wealth pushes Baba Moria to suspect its credibility (i.e. Baba Tawa’s wealth). As a result Baba Moria then concludes that Baba Tawa performed the ritual because of Iya Tawas prolonged illness.

Hatred and feelings of betrayal hit Baba Tawa and he begins spreading the Evil he suspects of his supposed bosom friend around the town, telling all who are willing to listen and succeeds in destroying Baba Tawa’s reputation.

Baba Tawa realizes that if a solution isn’t found immediately to the entire crises their bosom friendship will be destroyed forever. He then takes the bold step of inviting Baba Moria over for a thorough evaluation of the issue. At the climax of the meeting they become reunited as Baba Tawa tells Baba Moria the secret of the true source of his wealth.

PERSONAL OPINION: The film is a fabulous comedy; it is one to change totally any misconceptions on Nigerian movies as it fits into all moods: moods of joy to increase such and moods of sadness to raise the spirit. A totally successful Yoruba comedy.

CAMERA SHOTS: Long shots where used for the major duration of the movie as shots of the actors are taken from head to toe mostly.

CAMERA MOVEMENTS: The major camera movement style used in the movie is the horizontal i.e. it is mostly panned from left to right.

CAMERA ANGLE: The major camera angle style used in the movie is the mid-angle, this angle succeeds in creating viewer and actor familiarity.
