THE REVIEW (PLOT SUMMARY)
The movie started with a scene of kidnapped children struggling with the ropes tied around them. Amongst these children was Genevieve Nnaji’s (Evelyn), daughter, Mary. Evelyn is however accused of kidnapping her daughter by her mother-in-law, Clarion Chukwura (Mrs. duke) and husband, Nonso Diobi( Michael) she is arrested and taken to the police station.
The next day her friend, Uche Jombo (Barrister Joan Okolie) mistakenly sees her at the station and volunteers to be her lawyer. At the other side the kidnappers are planning on sending her daughter, Mary amongst others over the sea, however the girl seems to be calling the female kidnapper, Genevieve Nnaji (June) her mum and this gets her nervous. She complains to her colleagues in crime, Koffi Ajololo (Jack) and MC Morris Ndubueze (Patrick) and they assure her nothing would happen. At this point she speaks Yoruba to show her discomfort.
Evelyn’s mother, Maureen Ihua (Mrs. Williams) who is on a wheel chair and has just been recently discharged from the hospital is being looked for by Franca Aernan, to explain what happened when she put to bed many years ago. She has to go all the way to Abuja after going back to the hospital where she has been sacked to beg for Mrs. Williams address, after a lot of searching’s and embarrassments’ from the taxi driver who dropped her half way, she finds her at the point where she (Mrs. Williams) is explaining to Joan, her daughter’s lawyer of how Evelyn’s twin died at birth.
The woman however explains of how she gave one of the twins, Joan out to a senator after his wife gave birth to a still birth. At this point, Evelyn has been sentenced to death by hanging, but is to take place in nine months time as she is pregnant with child. Meanwhile her daughter has been in the hospital for 42 days after an accident which happened as they were leaving for over the seas. She is however found by her father and Joan after placement of an ad in the newspaper, though she cannot recognize them as she has suffered memory loss. Her grandmother denies her at this point and this is when Michael decides he has had enough. He sends her packing out of the house and she confesses she has been this way towards his wife, Evelyn because she had wanted him all for herself.
Evelyn is therefore released and as she reconnects with her husband and child, she sees her twin sister who had been caught and apprehended. They both look at each other, shocked. Evelyn begins to throw questions at her. Joan however begins to reminiscence on why Mary used to call her mum. She apologizes and explains to Evelyn saying that her parents never told her she had a twin. They depart according to the order of the police officer. And Evelyn reconciles with her family as they have become one again.

TITLE SEQUENCE: While the names of the casts were being shown and the music was playing at the beginning of the movie, I noticed that the central image shown on screen was blurry, changing into different colors as the names change.
CINEMATOGRAPHY
Shots: The long shot, medium shot, close up (reference: when Uche Jombo was trying to find out the truth, emphasis was laid on her face), extreme close up shot(attention paid to mouth)were used, however there seems to be a inclination for medium shots, because they were mostly used.
Angle: Medium angle was foremost in the movie though the extremely high and low angles were also used.
Transition: Sharp zoom-in and out was used for flash back when the birth of Genevieve (Evelyn and June) was being remembered. Also the zooming in on two occasions of the nation’s badge hung on the wall of the court where Genevieve’s case was being judged.
Camera Movement: The crane and dolly were made use of for outstanding performance in movement.
Camera Speed: Medium camera speed was maintained throughout the movie.
Costume: Done by Uche Nancy. The normal Day-to-day costume was used in the movie since it has a contemporary setting however emphasis was also made on the boss kidnapper to show his position of authority.
Make Up: Straight make up was used throughout the movie. Done by Matthew Hycient Alechenu.
REFLECTIONS
I was actually impressed at the use of the federal high court at Abuja. Genevieve’s speaking of Yoruba, the costume of gateman and the true expression of the taxi driver. However nothing can be perfect, there have to be some mistakes and the ones I noticed are: The Nigerian police van which was terrible sight. Also the pastor’s first appearance was not at all presentable. He was looking like a body guard, but he justified it with his second appearance. Apart from these two, I can say the movie was splendid.
FINALE
Personally I believe the climax of the movie was when the twins met and got to see themselves for the first time at the police station. In conclusion I would like to say that Life is indeed a very strange place, and we should beware of whatsoever things we do. Never be part of a sin because it just might back fire on you. Plot: The movie is based on the different lives of two brothers, identical twins (Ramsey Nouah). Both married, Kenny lives in Nigeria, Taiwo other in England. Kenny is married with three children (2 girls and a boy) while Taiwo has none after being married nearly the same time as Kenny has, about 9 years. Taiwo suggests to Kenny that they switch places so as to help him father a child he will claim his. This is after his surprise visit to Nigeria and feels comfortable in the company of little children. After a series of arguments, Kenny gives into the plan. Taiwo remains in Nigeria while Kenny leaves to the U.K.

Kenny as usual adapts and makes the best of his new environment, improves his brother’s business and increases the comfort of his family in the U.K. while thrifty Taiwo unintentionally diminishes Kenny’s business. He loses all his brother’s friends and colleagues who think it is Kenny. On an occasion when he wronged Kaska (Lanre Balogun), a good business friend of Kenny’s and bandits were sent to rob him, he left the entire family and ran to the policemen. Two of the children were killed and all the money in the house was taken. This shows that Taiwo’s mentality is still tuned to living the life back in England. He doesn’t believe in the natural things that boost the lifestyle of the average businessman in Nigeria. He doesn’t engage in bribes, wastage etc. This can be seen at work when he sold the company cars, accused the workers of wasting toilet water, selling the television in the office and refusing to pay for a new transformer for their street even after everyone else had agreed to pay.
Then in the end, Kenny refused to return to the mess his brother created for him in Nigeria and then war began with the two brothers. They started toying around with their lives and making a big mess of it all until one eventually died at the end.
Theme: the difference in the lifestyle in two countries.

Reflections: I think the movie is a master project that shows life as it is. Two separate worlds are depicted in this movie. See how Taiwo in Nigeria parks to answer a phone call. This never happens, except to someone who follows the culture of the white man. Also sees how wrong things are those that make success happen. This is shown when Kenny, in England settles some business clients to get a contract that Taiwo had been working on for a very long time.
Finale: the movie closes with a death scene which can be termed a tragedy. Also, the music used in that scene is one that depicts sorrow.
Budget: about 9 million Naira
Challenges: the movie was very challenging. There are three parts to it which means that there was a lot to do and a lot of time for the production. Some scenes were cut off and some scenes were not shot due to security reasons. Getting the twins was also another challenge as a face mask was to be created for better effect and less stress.
Duration: the overall production process took a little more than a year to finalize.

Plot:
The film begins with a scene where Chidi (Teju Gbade) is seriously ill, his parents take him to different hospitals in and outside the country and he still does not get well. His aunty arrives on a certain day and it is there she senses (spiritually) that Chidi has offended a spirit but she can not tell them what he has done or else he would die. Chidi refuses to tell them; he first has a flashback of a grave and then another flashback about entering into the university.
The school request that parents should fill a guarantee form but the father, Chief Dike(Richard Mofe Damijo) refuses and keeps going on about how him and his wife are very busy with their business schedule and so are not able to make out time to visit the school for the guarantee form.
When Chidi arrives school, he is so happy to be free from his parents and then starts to party with his friend, Lammy. Lammy begins to cajole him into joining XG, a very popular cult in their school. Seeing Chidi’s reluctance, Lammy keeps coaxing him by telling him that Bimbo, Lammy’s female friend is continuously harassed by her lecturers until he eventually compromises. When he finally agrees, he has to undergo some tests to join and become a worthy member of the cult. One of these tests was to go to a grave and steal jewelry from a corpse. They successfully steal clothes and jewelry from the corpse. This act of exhumation is the beginning of the predicament.
The theft of the jewelry is followed by severe spiritual attacks with the “victim” of the theft repeatedly appearing to Chidi to return the stolen ring; meanwhile, the ring had been sold and was at that time, in London.
The situation began to get a lot more worse as the members of the group that was involved in the theft began to die one after the other.
All the while, Chidi hadn’t even told his parents about the situation. It is until Lammy and Bimbo die in an automobile crash that Chidi finally owns up to his parents about all the occurrences.
At this point, Gladys, the lady who was the theft “victim” materializes in the house and demands for the ring. All investigation then points to the fact that the ring was in London and Chidi’s father had to travel all the way to London to get the ring which had already been given to a woman by her husband as a gift. It was very difficult to get the ring because the man’s marriage was threatened but the ring was eventually returned. At this time, Chidi was already dying but the ring was recovered and returned in time and so, Chidi survived.

FINALE
This motion picture depicts the way some families are run in which the parents have very little or no time for their children. This usually results in their children going astray and becoming wayward and truant. The movie also shows how collapsed and degenerated many public institutions are. Finally, the song is also a warning to parents to pay more attention to their children as there is always a propensity for children to be influenced.

Lighting: good lighting was used at most points in the movie

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The grave side was shot at two locations a grave yard and the second was an uncompleted building place the scene where they were descending down into the grave .

PRODUCTION PROCESS
It took the script writer two full weeks without disturbance to write the script. The whole production of the film lasted for a year.
Inspiration: the ills happening in the society and tertiary institutions in Nigeria. One other one is the script writer’s younger brother had a similar experience.
Flaws: there was a scene in the film where the line mike was showing and the lighting was bad at some point because shadows were showing at some point.
Sub cast: Teju was not the original cast for the role of Chidi, he was picked from the school (University of Lagos), he was very reluctant in acting but the director felt Teju’s face best fitted the character. The original cast was old for the role.
Challenges: it was difficult in getting foreign characters and the London scenes happened in a day.

GENRE: Tragedy- the movie actually started with a happy beginning with the father and mother making merriment and planning for the return of their most cherished daughter. But the reverse became the case at the end as most of the lead characters experienced one form of downfall or the other.
SYNOPSIS: chief Douglas(Olu Jacobs) and his lovely wife sophie (Joke Silva), were making merriments and making plans for a bar barque party for their most cherished daughter, Whitney(Genevieve Nnanji) on her arrival from her youth service. In the midst of their joliment and planning, enters the police officer asking if they knew the name of a lady Nancy(Omotola .J.Ehkeinde), the disowned daughter of the family. Douglas denied her immediately and almost at same time, whitney comes into the house with a picture of her sister, Nancy in a frame causing a state of chaos in the house between the police and Douglas.
On Whitney’s arrival from the youth service, she already had a fantastic job waiting for her as the new C.E.O. of Crystal Town- Douglas company and so joy and happiness pervades the whole atmosphere of their home until whitney’s mention of her right to know about the where about and wellbeing of her only sibling which got the father upset due to the pains and penury she had put the family and even other families through. Whitney got the address of her sister somehow and pays her a visit in the house of her dubious husband-Charlie (Fred Aseroma) only to find out that she was not in a good state of affairs.
Charlie and Nancy knowledge of Whitney as someone who is fragile and very soft, decided to take advantage of her, pretending and begging her to help her win their fathers heart once again. It was in this state that the tragedy of the film took place when Nancy knowing full well that her sister loves her and could do anything for her persuaded her to get pregnant for Charlie on her behalf so that they could at least have a child. After series of persuasion, Whitney finally succumbs and got her parent disappointed leading to the mother’s death and was disowned by her father Douglas. With this new scenario, Nancy won her father’s heart as she had always wished. Nevertheless, Nancy who had always trusted in her husband was filled with disappointment on her findings that he had another wife elsewhere with two kids. When she could no longer take it, Nancy got all of them killed including her so called husband and finally got herself killed also.
THEME: whatever you sow, that you shall surely reap in one way or the other.
SETTING: the film has an urban setting throughout.

CINEMATOGRAPHY:
SHOTS: various types of shots were used in the movie – extremely long shot (this was seen in the beginning of the film), long shots, medium shot close up shot and extremely close up shot. But the most predominantly used is the medium shot.
CAMERA MOVEMENT: the horizontal movement (panning) was used when the family was returning from their visit at a friend’s house. The tilting up and down of the vertical movement was used when Douglas caught his daughter prostituting.
PERSONAL ASSESMENT: the movie is a very interesting one I mean with lead actor and actresses like Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Ehkeinde and the others. Talking about the diction, accent, intonation, stress and it likes, they were all properly put inplace and the grammer was just superb. The technical aspect was also superb.

LEAD: “I’m about to enter my menopause, when will God answer my prayers”
SUMMARY: As reflected in the lead above, the film is about a couple that has been childless for ten years and have been waiting on God until the wife (acted by Stella damasus) begins to take advise from a bad friend of her’s who doesn’t have a home and prostitutes for a living. One of the major highlights for me was the scene Stella discovered that her husband was infertile, her acting was so good, she conveyed the real emotion of a woman finding out such heartbreaking news. After this she decided to sleep with her husband’s driver, k.k (Desmond Eliot) who happened to be her sister’s boyfriend and got a set of twins whose presence turned her mother in-law totally in her favor . Unfortunately her sister, Amaka(played by Annie Macauley) found out and blew her cover to her husband. This threatened to destroy her marriage and so she planned on the advice of her friend U.K(Chinyere Wilfred) to eliminate K.K who by some wicked twist of faith is her friends son-in-law who cannot have a child considering his wife, Lizzy(Tonto Dike) lived a promiscuous life and destroyed her womb in the process of her countless abortions.
Eventually, the husband, James(Kalu Ikeagwu) becomes fertile and is able to impregnate his wife while Lizzy’s marriage is destroyed and she cannot get any man willing to marry a wombless woman all thanks to her mother who discouraged even the most loving man, Frank from wanting her daughter.
THEMES EXPLORED: Love , Desperation, Betrayal, Immorality, Patience.
RATING: A 3 star out of 5
SPOILERS: As good as the story line is I can’t help but comment on the flops in the movie, for i. For Desmond I was quite impressed because he acted his lover boy role well and it seemed natural except for the fact that he looks pathetic when he lies or attempts to lie. I must confess that I am always swept off my feet with kalu Ikeagwu’s diction, he didn’t disappoint in this one either. Jim iyke wasn’t playing his usual lover boy or big, rich kid role but a poor lowly kid begging to get a chance in a girls heart(the scene in which he bring Tonto flowers and gets beaten up with them is so good because his face looked very beggarly). The beauty of her performance was in the small subtilities like the raise of an eyebrow that can be so easily overlooked, however I felt she was overdoing the sexy girl thing to the extent that at some point it became downright annoying.
Regardless of all these flaws the movie is a good one and an original story that I would recommend the plots being well placed even though the ending was a bit rushed it was a good attempt at bringing something fresh into Nollywood.

Storyline:

The film is about a married couple, by name victor (Emeka Okoro) and mabel (Gloria Osieme), who have lived together for five years without any issue. Mabel later finds out that Victor was responsible for their predicament. Instead of apologizing, the Victor also blames his wife for their predicament. This caused conflict between the two of them. Through, the help of friend, Ikem ( Desmond Elliot), he brought up the idea of adopting a baby. Victor later begs for forgiveness and suggest that his wife should have an artificial insemination. At first, she refused, but after much pleading, she agreed. After she became pregnant, she started mistreating her husband, and calling him all sort of names. At a point in time, she took the money he kept at home for his father and gave it to her younger brother.

Ikem on the other hand, had no time for his family. He has a daughter and a pregnant wife, susan ( Chichi King), but all the time he claims that he is busy and at times comes back late to the house. Ikem wanted a contract with the Federal government, but the person in charge by name chief Anayo refused to give him the contract on the basis that Ikem’s company was a growing company and had never handled a Federal contract before. He later travels to Abuja for a job where he mets his former school mate, Onyinye, (Tonia Nwosu). Onyinye, not knowing that he was married fell in love with him. Her friend Cindy, (Ejiro Okurame), advised her to take it slow with Ikem but she refused. At a point, she slept with him, after preserving her virginity for 26 years.

Ikem later finds out that chief Anayo, was Onyinye’s father. He quickly got engaged with her. Through her help and that of her mother Lolo, ( Ngozi Ezeonu), he was able to get Chief Anayo, (Alex Usifo) to sign the contract. Ikem succeeded in duping Chief Anayo of N65 million Naire. He ran away with his family to America, leaving Onyinye with a two months pregnancy.

On the otherhand, Mabel, gave birth to a baby boy. She had no more regard and respect for Victor. She started going out with different men on the basis that Victor was not man enough. When confronted by her aunty, Mabel revealed to her that Victor was impotent and that he was not the father of their son. With the support of her aunt, she moved out of Victor’s house.

Chief Anayo, was arrested by the police on the case of money laundering. His daughter, Onyinye gave birth to a baby boy. After which she got involved Victor who she met in a seminar. They later got intimate with each other and fell in love.

Ikem later divorced his wife after she got not give him a male child. He came back to Nigeria to beg Onyinye for forgiveness thinking that she would accept him back. Instead, he was arrested by the EFCC and was taken to prison.

Opinion: The movie was not properly organized. Notwithstanding, it was okay. The sound quality is average and also the picture quality was not that good. The camera placements were good, because I noticed the low angle, high as well as medium angle. The movie should not have ended the way it did. It was a good job after all.

PLOT:
The father of a young man, Akunanwata, is about to die. Before the man dies he joins his son together with a young lady called Nkiru as husband and wife. 25 years later Akunanwata (silas) and Nkiru (Monalisa) are still married but unhappy with themselves.
Darmy (Desmond) comes to Akunanwata’s office, as a graduate of economics, to apply to be a driver as he prefers this to being idle. He is given the job and later on, Akunanwata takes him home to meet his wife. Nkiru is happy to see him and develops ideas of her own.
As Darmy familiarizes himself with the area, he takes note of a girl called Naomi (Mercy). He decides to go to her house to visit her but is greatly embarrassed when she gets offended and tells him to get out of her house. Nkiru asks Darmy to be her lover. He doesn’t know what to do but his friend advices him to take a chance and accept her proposal.
While driving to work one day, Naomi’s car breaks down and she is stranded. Just then Darmy drives past and stops to help her. After this they get to know each other and before long they start a relationship. Also, on the side, Darmy also starts a relationship with Nkiru. Things start to go well for him as Nkiru pulls some strings. She then fakes that she is pregnant for him and she would not terminate the pregnancy if he doesn’t go before a shrine to engage her.
After this is done she confesses that she was never pregnant. She rewards him with some big gifts and they both start to plan their wedding. Meanwhile to prove to Naomi that he loves and truly wants to marry her, he makes them do a blood covenant. He also starts to plan his wedding to Naomi. Something occurs and Akunanwata dies because of Nkiru. While Nkiru arranges for her late husband’s burial, Darmy and Naomi finalize their wedding plans.
When Nkiru comes back and learns of Darmy’s wedding, she is furious and tries to stop it but fails. In anger Nkiru sets Darmy up but everything bounces back and she is arrested. Darmy experiences the repercussion of breaking his engagement to Nkiru but is delivered through prayers.

THEME: the major themes of the movie are betrayal, cheating and wickedness. These themes are almost expressed in the different circumstances in the movie.

SHOTS: The types of shots used in this movie are mainly the medium shots. A few close up shots came in during the course of the film.

ANGLE: Different camera anglings were used but the most prominent used the camera is also that of medium. Once in a while the camera was angled differently to put more illustration on a particular object or person.

CAMERA MOVEMENTS:
Pan was definitely used. Often times pan left and right were used. The camera movements were generally good.

MAKE UP:
The make up used in this movie was pretty light as no one was overly made up. The make up was slightly natural as seen in the case of darmy (Desmond) through out the movie.

The costumes used in the movie were a mixture of traditional and English wears. It was pretty simple and less dramatic. It suited the film well.

CONCLUSION:
This movie is a good piece when you follow the story line. Although at a point you get lost trying to find the main actor i.e. the center of attention in the movie. Occasionally the soundtrack did not depict the particular scene being shown. Also one often lost track of the general theme of the movie.
Also one can notice that some of the actors used were not really playing their roles well. The emotional level of the film was not really high except maybe at the beginning when Akunanwata’s father was about to die.
However, the film was generally good and interesting. The writer did a good job and so did the director. The message the writer was trying to pass across was gotten. The story line and every other element came together to give a satisfactory watch.

The princess of the people of Omuaku, Ihuoma (Genevieve Nnaji) is the leader and a warrior but she has a dream that her people are going to die. She is then warned by her mother not to take the dream lightly. She listens to the voice of her mother by setting warriors at the boundary of the village.

She is then threatened by the leader of another village who wanted to claim the land that was given to the people of Omuaku by his father. She goes to his village and defeat him there and takes his whole kingdom and thereby becoming the ruler over it. Her mother is proud of her but also warns her that the worst is yet to come.

Nearby, in the village of Acharo, prince Obioma is in love with a local girl in which his father, the Igwe, does not approve. The Igwe tells the prince theta the girl is from a family of harlot but he does not believe until he sees with his younger brother with his own eyes. He is very angry and is forced to marry someone else.

The igwe of Acharo wants the land of Omuaku and sends his messengers to the princess to threaten her to surrender but the princess refuse to be perturbed.

The movie is a comedy that has a happy ending.

PRIDE is about a pastor, Pastor Johnson Albert (Ayo Ajewole). Pastor Johnson is a man that God uses very well for person’s healing and deliverances. But as time goes on pastor Johnson starts to believe that God’s anointing on him was more than the other pastors in the church. Because of his pride Johnson gets suspended in the church but he resigns instead and sets up a new church. Pastor Johnson later got so full of himself that he had no members in his church five years after setting up the church. He then decides to make people accept Jesus by force and then make them compulsory members of his church. While trying to do this, he encounters thug. Together with three more thugs, Pastor Johnson was beaten to death because of the “accept JESUS by force Agenda” he had.
REVIEW
Pride is a very interesting film. It is a Gospel comedy and even though it is a gospel comedy, the message it is suppose to pass across are dominant in the film. However, it is evident that the film PRIDE is of low budget.
The characters in the film are not properly costumed. Their acting was a good one even though they could have done a lot more in some seen. The characters in this film are young but this did not disturb the production of the film. The one good thing that I loved about this film is that the characters, though not perfect in their acting could still pass across the message very clearly.
Furthermore, there are some things I will strongly advise to take important. First, the makeup of the characters was not good. In this film, the makeup artiste did not do a very good job. The characters during the course of a shot sweat very much. The makeup artiste was supposed to do something about that but did not. This situation occurred in several other scenes in the film.
The film is a very interesting film and the acting was good but nevertheless, there can still be a lot more improvement in the acting, costuming and makeup of the cast because it is very important in the success of a film.

The movie begins with a scene that makes us know about a royal polygamous family. Ignatius and Kenneth are Princes from this family. Ignatius’ mother is the first wife Head Queen known as Onyinye, while Kenneth’s mother, Ozuluonye is the King’s second wife. Kenneth and Ignatius are as close as full brothers to the extent that they cherish each other’s mothers as their own. The second wife Onyinye was never pleased in this movie with this close the relationship between the his son and the first wife’s son Ignatius and she decided to end their close relationship by planting seeds of jealousy into her son’s head and he will have another mindset that will make him to start competing with his brother rather than working alongside him. Her plan was worked out successfully as she wanted, in no time each son was under their mum’s control, doing their things differently. T

The head queen oyinye, is very materialistic thriving on grand displays of wealth and raising her son to be the same way. We see her son Emeka being chastised for not having a car as though his lack of material wealth reflects badly her. One day Emeka goes with his brother Kenneth to buy their respective mother’s gifts of lace. Emeka’s mother snarls in disgust when she is handed her gift, exclaiming, “What rubbish! Where did you pick this thing from?” On the contrary Kenneth’s mother chastises him for spending so much on her encouraging him to save for the future as opposed to spending on material things. We see the difference in the two mothers. Ozuluonye is selfless and puts her son’s needs before her own whereas Onyinye is selfish and concerned with how outsiders look on her son’s financial situation.

Later in the movie Kenneth, the second wife’s son excels where his brother Ignatius fails. We can see that this is a direct result of their mother – son relationships. Emeka fails in business because of his mother’s never ending preoccupation with trying to look better than Kenneth and his mother, which causes him to seek fast money through gaining contracts by bribery whereas Kenneth takes his time putting together good solid proposals to win contracts and does not take short cuts.

REVIEW

The movie is a very good one illustrating the following themes;

Royalty,
Polygamy,
Materialism,
Karma,
Charms.

Things between the brothers really take a turn for the worse when Kenneth falls on hard times. It is then that his brother turns his back on him. When Ignatius was in his time of need Kenneth lent him 2 million naira. He even borrowed some of the money which Ignatius lost after being duped by 419[s]. We then see how even though Ignatius had secured a 16 Million contact weeks previously he refuses to lend his brother 1 million telling him that he does not have it.

It is not a lack of generosity that afflicts Ignatius but rather his mother’s influence in feeling that he must be one step ahead of his brother. That very same day that he refuses to give Kenneth the money he offers to take out a staff member on a night out with all drinks and women paid for. When the said employee expresses disapproval at the way Kenneth is being treated, Ignatius mocks him saying “survival of the fittest” I feel that Ignatius’ character was poorly developed. We should have seen more of his arrogant and selfish side in his early interactions with Kenneth. In the end we find out that the clock is the key to all the issues that the couples in the movie are having. It is given to the head queen under the premise that, “Any house this clock hangs in will know no peace… Everything will go anti clockwise.” Every time charms are used in a movie it is because of some evil, bitter and twisted woman
