This Yoruba movie is centred on the live of a young girl Adetutu (Bukola Awoyemi), who is supposed to be the intermediary between the gods and the people as she periodically carries sacrifices to appease the gods. The movie proper opens up with an extremely long shot which shows a mountainous city Ilu Nla which eventually turns out to be the setting of the movie, and then it focuses on a market with a high angle camera placement which gradually finds a celestial prophet who is preaching the coming back of Christ.

The movie is rurally shot, though with a high standard, it is meant to depict the trials of a developing community that is being disturbed by some spell that has to be solved by appeasing the gods.
In continuation, Most part of the movie’s camera shots are medium shots and there are also a lot of long shots complimenting them as well. Also, the pre-dominant camera placement is mid-angle and complimented by High angle views.

She( Adetutu) eventually falls in love with Makinwa, a traditional dancer in the movie who heads a dance group in the film.
In furtherance, she gets kidnapped and frees herself via her extra ordinary abilities granted to her by Yemoja (the river Godess)

She also went through a lot in the movie as her new found love Makinwa had to drop his girl friend for her.

FINALE: The movie teaches the lesson of wisdom as it ends with the proverb ‘a word is enough for the wise’, the final scene ends with an extreme Crane shot and it is also a high angle cam placement.

My Rating: 50%
It si a yoruba movie and unlike other yoruba movies the graphics were excellent.
