Plot: This movie was dedicated to Late Mrs. Iyabo Momoh. It’s all about the life of a young man and his wife. Tokunbo had been going through a lot since he got married. It all started with a dream. After which so many bad occurrences took place. Beginning with him loosing his job, and then going to prison for a crime he didn’t commit for fourteen days, leaving his wife worried about him.
His wife’s mum and brother came and took her away because a prophet told her Mopelola’s life will be doomed for failure if she remains with him. Surprisingly to Mopelola, he asked her to go with her mum. He went to his sister to tell her his problems, she tried helping him, but then her husband told her to make a choice between him and her brother.
He was left all alone, and still dreaming about some cult members asking him to come back home. Apparently his father was a member of their cult and before dying, saved his place for his son (Tokunbo). But Tokunbo wasn’t interested. Frustrated, he wondered into the bush one day and met an old man carrying wood. Pitying the man he offered to help him. After a lot of persuasion, the old man (Owoseni) gave in, arriving at their destination, Tokunbo told Owoseni of his misfortunes and surprisingly owoseni knew the cult members. He told tokunbo about how greed led him to them and they destroyed his life.
Further frustrated, he went to look for the cult and asked to be killed because he was never going to join them, but they refused and told him he has no other choice. On a faithful day, out of hunger, Tokunbo took a paw-paw and ate it without even peeling it out of hunger. As he did that, a voice came from an oracle telling him he is free from their hold. Surprised, he asked what happened and why they finally decided to let him be after all this time. He was told that the paw-paw was a forbidden fruit in their cult and once you eat it, you are banned from their hood. He was overjoyed and after that he got his wife back and things came back to normal.
Theme: conflict and betrayal.
Conflict is present because of the brawl that went on between Funso and the cult members. And betrayal because his father swore him into the cult without neither his knowledge, consent.

Reflection: well the movie wasn’t that great. There was most certainly a lot of time wasted, showing us the surrounding of the house at the beginning. And then some scenes just came from no where confusing me at a point in time. But other than that, I think the actors did a job well done and that they should be commended. And the story line was quite interesting.
