The movie ‘’oju ode da’’ is all about deceit and love. Akin [muyiwa ademola] got married to shola [bimbo oshin] and were blessed with two kids junior [Samuel ajirebi] and dolapo [sekinat alao]. Shola happens to be a woman who doesn’t care about her family all what she cares about is how to travel and bring back goods to sell. She is not submissive to her husband and she also lacks home training. Her attitude led her husband into fornication with Sade [oyindamola badmus].

My review on this film’’ oju ode da’’ is educating, entertaining, and thought provoking. Akin actually fell in love with sade because his wife was not submissive, and submission in marriage is very necessary. It is educating in the aspect of showing how self centered a supposed mother and wife is. She became unfaithful to her husband and cared less for her home.

‘’oju ode da’’ meaning ‘’the deed has been done’’ as she pushes her husband out of their matrimonial home and made him fornicate with another young and beautiful lady. It shows deceits of a supposed mother and wife. Sade was willing to be a mother to shola’s innocent children, and the kids were also ready to accept her as their mother. Shola is also a woman who lacks home training and doesn’t know how to approach people.

‘’oju ode da’’ is also intriguing and thought provoking. It shows how men try their best to be faithful but their wives lead them to fornication due to unsubmission. shola cared less for her children and didn’t appreciate her home when she was meant to. The bible says’’ wives should be submissive to their husbands and husbands should treat their wives with love because they are weaker vessels’’.

Before the end of the movie, shola decided to destroy sade’s pretty face by pouring acid on it but to God be the glory akin flew her abroad for a face surgery and her face became normal again by the time she came back. Meanwhile shola already had an accident which made her break her spinal cord. So in this aspect the movie also depicts wickedness and jealousy.
The genre in this movie is melodrama. ‘’oju ode da ‘’is intriguing and highly suspense filled that should be recommended for every home.
