Itelorun is an educative movie that revolves around three close friends, Labaka (Wunmi Akinwande), Shalewa( Toyin Afolayan), and Ariyike( Remi Surutu) who forgot the popular English proverbs that says “fingers are not equal”.
These three friends have husbands, Ishiola (Taiwo Hassan), Babajide (Akeem Alimi) and Akanni (Aina Gold) has who perform their responsibilities as fathers and husbands but yet they were not contented with what their husbands give them.
Shalewa knew that her friends Labaka and Ariyike are richer than her and could get all they need without their husbands intervening but she never knew the source of their wealth. Due to this, she decided to dupe her husband so as to be like her friends and forgot that nemesis will catch up with her sooner or later. Shalewa’s husband, Ishola knew about all this came to an option that could not be changed.
Shalewa didn’t learn after all that her husband said to her rather, she went to Ariyike to tell her what she did to make money and after much persuasion, she let the cat out of the bag and told Shalewa the secrete of her wealth. Ariyike was a money ritualist but was unaware to people due to her free way of giving to the poor and providing to the needy, providing for the needs of the church and masque which was a cover up. Shalewa needed something costly for her own money rituals which could only be gotten by her- someone close to her.
At the end of the movie, these three friend s betrayed each other and ended their lives mysteriously.



REVIEW;
“ ITELORUN” in English meaning “CONTENTMENT” is an educative movie and also a melo drama which exposes the danger in friendship. It is also a film on the betrayal, unsatisfaction and eye contentiousness. It exposes they way men are trying to full their responsibilities as husbands and yet their wives remain ungrateful. It shows disobedience to the words of husbands whereas the Bible emphasis the obedience of wives to their husbands just as Labake refused to listen to her husband’s advice concerning her choice of friends and and felt they are the best for her and one of them finally ended up destroying her life leading her to her untimely death..These friends will never believe they could betray each other and ended their lives way they did.
This movie has taught me to mind those I call friends “show me your friends and I will tell u who u are”. When you work with the right set of people, you get connected to the right source. To always listen and take advices. Assuming labake took to her husband’s advices, she won’t have died untimely. Always be contented and Gods time is the best. Shalewa wasn’t contented with what her husband do give her and Ariyike wanted a quick way to riches and ended her life mysteriously.
