STORY LINE:

Mercy Johnson (Uche) opens the scenes in a cancelling session with a member of the church and friend. Revealing her identity as a pastor alongside her husband Mike Ezuruonye (Leslie), who is also a Pastor.

Uche and Leslie believe God for the fruit of the womb. And the pressure on them is high especially from (Patience Ozokwor) Leslie’s mum.

A friend of Mike returns from South Africa and gives him a sum of about $10,000 which of course they appreciated. On a faithful night Leslie and Uche engaged in prayer warfare led by Uche against their unfruitful predicament. That night they made love after prayer they went for dinner.

While eating armed robbers using the security man, gained access into the house, they stole they $10,000 and in the process as raped Uche.

Uche could not bear the shock, she was psychologically disturbed for some time, after which discovered her pregnancy. As a minister of God she refused all options from her husband and mother in law to abort the baby.

Leslie’s mum had serious neglect for uche and called her and the yet unborn child names like “cursed”. Uche delivers the baby and later discovers that the baby actually belongs to Leslie because of a mark Leslie has on his back which the baby also has, every child from Leslie’s lineage has the mark including his mother. This time she was in her mother’s house, she was driven out of her matrimonial home. Their family doctor called Leslie and told him that his DNA test is affirmative meaning the child belongs to him.

Leslie realizing his wrong doings first apologizes to God soberly, then goes to apologize to Uche and her mother then brings them home. On seeing the birth mark, Leslie’s mum also realizes her mistake and then apologizes for all her wrong doings and all the wicked things she had done. Uche for gives her and there is a family reunion.

OPINION/REVIEW

The film is a good example of good acting by Mercy Johnson who literarily quoted several scriptures like a real pastor, most of her lines were very religious and were backed up by solid scriptures, it was quite obvious that she was more spiritual than her husband Leslie. She personally thrilled me, because I know her only to be good in movies that entail romance or love, but she proved me all wrong by her superb delivery.

Patience Ozokwor did what she knows how to do best. She really tortured Uche and it also made me feel bad, but the most annoying part is that she is always forgiven, well that’s just by the way.

The script writer did an excellent job, the director was of standard because there were no unnecessary scenes, and he also gave us the privilege to see some of the movie mistakes which of course is very funny.

The camera angles used were mostly close shots, and long shots were necessary, vital shots were well covered. Sound too was good. I recommend the film watchable for everyone. . I will personally rate the movie two thumbs up because of superb acting and execution of scripts.
