PLOT (SUMMARY)
The movie is mainly based on a clash between two girls, Foxy; the head of Jezebels, a female cult group in the school and Amanda a freshman in the school.
Foxy, being the terrorist she is, was beating Suzy up in public over an amount of money Suzy refused to hand over to her as agreed. Amanda, seeing this as a very wrong act, stood in for Suzy. That was all Amanda needed to do to get into the black list of the Jezebels.
The Jezebels struck first by destroying Amanda’s car, Amanda struck back by ruining a “business deal” the Jezebels had with a commissioner. Foxy’s crush, Comrade, the head of a male cult group in the school picked interest in Amanda. Not knowing what was going on between Comrade and Foxy, Amanda gave in to Comrade’s advances. Foxy got to know when she saw Amanda in Comrade’s room and this made her hate Amanda even more especially after receiving a slap from Amanda.
The war between the two girls kept going on until Foxy got rusticated for cultism.

FLAWS: Generally to me, the director of this movie didn’t do a good job because he didn’t bring out the best in the actors and actresses; they were quite lousy in their acting. The scene where Jojo and Suzy went for a deal was over flogged. They could have shown more useful scenes instead of wasting so much time on just one scene.
CINEMATOGRAPHY
SHOTS: The most dominant shot in this movie was medium shot. The extreme long shot was used in the first scene; long shots were also used in the movie.
TRANSITION: the fade in and fade out transition was used mostly, but some scenes transitioned wit cut transition.
FINALE: I feel the movie is quite good but it teaches nothing. It only revolved around two girls pulling a prank or two on each other. It was trying to say cultism does not pay, this was why Amanda who was not a cultist eventually won but Amanda herself had a boyfriend (Comrade) who was also a cultist but nothing happened to him. On the average, the movie is entertaining.

PLOT: “ Restore My Love” is a linear story of Achike (Emeka Ike), who falls in love with a clean-cut and hard working Jeneth (Juliet Ibrahim), but because of a preconceived notion of women who work in banking institutions, he becomes despondent and sends her packing, but ends up with a woman who is a mismatch for him. Actually, his friend Ossy (Emeka Akolo) causes him look at his wife, Jeneth with the wrong eyes. When he finally sees the light, he promises to go back to his wife. Meanwhile, Jeneth had been fired from the bank because she couldn’t give in to an aids-ridden bank manager. At one point, she goes back to the village to her mother but couldn’t stay and have to come back to the city and gets job with a cable company. She’s pregnant with Acheke’s child the whole while.
Jeneth’s hard to forgive Achike but being so in love with her husband, she manages to accept him back in her life and let him hold their daughter in his arms, in their living room.
“An incredible story”, as Janeth herself at length could put it. Yes, an incredible story I can attest to. Here in Restore My Love, Achike has the natural motivation through miseries by associating himself with someone that he’s not at par with, socially. I admire him too in two scenes concerning his self realization and preparations to restore his love. One is in the scene where Achike stands over Ogby: “The party is over…I can’t control you anymore…I want you to leave my life”, even as the uncouth Ogby, could retort to his statement: “Me, a be your wife-o”. And in another scene, he tells his friend Ossy: “I’ll swallow my pride and look for Janeth”. And so he does.
When such linear type stories are told, with not much digressions to unnecessarily hold viewers attention as we witness in other stories, we feel rewarded. I love this incredible story because it has story. The two principal players, Emeka Ike and Juliet Ibrahim fight for their interests against all odds and restore their once precious love. Now a story is told.
I cannot assign a category to this film or relate it to any recent Nollywood or Gollywood flick. It is simply enchanting. I felt pulled into the center of actions from curtain up, and I cried with Jeneth, pity Bob for the blind side he maintains into the character of a wife who dearly loves him and at curtain down, I laughed and rejoiced with both of them and their little one like a big African family. If you’ve been turned off lately by some Nollywood movies, this I promise will keep you good company. Enjoy it
CINEMATOGRAPHY:
ANGLE: medium angle was dominant in the movie and other angles were also used.
CAMERA MOVEMENT: a dolly was used so as to survey or show how big the land was.
CAMERA SPEED: Medium camera speed was maintained throughout the movie
MAKE-UP: the characters wore heavy and straight make-up.
REFLECTION: I found it amazing how after everything Achike ends up with a woman who is a mismatch for him.
MY RATING: 80%
FINALE: What if God grants you the most wonderful, beautiful, obedient, god-fearing , respectful and hardworking wife and because of a preconceived notion about certain types of women, especially those who work in the banks, as planted in your mind by a friend who has a philandering wife, you become suspicious of your own. Being pumped up you become impatient and jealous, and drives her out of the relationship. In exchange, you end up with the most crude, gross and unorthodox girl, who wouldn’t tolerate caress or foreplay in bed because; it is the work of the devil.
OVERALL: He was prejudice about female bankers but still got married to one. Their marriage came to an end when a coworker of his wife told him about his wife's constant cheating at work.
SHOULD I WATCH IT: I think so it's an easy movie to watch and fast moving for a change.

PERFORMANCE OF THE ACTORS: The acting was ok some parts from Emeka were over acted but I still like him in movies. As for Juliet I think she is truly improving... in this film at least, everyone knows that I think her make-up and hair leaves much to be desired. I’ve s
CHALLENGES: the movie was very challenging. There are three parts to it which means that there was a lot to do and a lot of time for the production. Some scenes were cut off and some scenes were not shot due to security reasons. Getting the twins was also another challenge as a face mask was to be created for better effect and less stress.
FLAWS: there was a scene in the film where the line mike was showing and the lighting was bad at some point because shadows were showing at some point.

PLOT.

A young rich lady, Inioluwa helped a young man, Josh, she met wandering on the road. She took him in and tried to help him recover his memory. Along the way, they fell in love. They both feel uncomfortable at first because of the age difference ( Inioluwa was older). Inioluwa had an asthma attack and was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with kidney problems. Josh donated one of the kidney and the surgery was successful.

Inioluwa’s twin Ore and their mother advised her to forgive and accept her husband back. Inioluwa bended to pressure which made Josh move back to the streets. Inioluwa’s husband, Dipo was arrested and jailed for peddling drugs and dealing in arms.

On her way to work one day, Inioluwa saw Josh who had become a lunatic on the street. She took him in an dtook care of him. He appeared to have lost his memory. Josh happens to be a twin but Inioluwa mistook Josh’s twin, Jeff for himself. Josh decided to go home to confront Inioluwa. Whe he got home he met his twin.

Inioluwa was already pregnant. Josh assumed the pregnancy was for Jeff, so he drank a vial of poison only to discover minutes away from death that he was responsible for the pregnancy. Before he died he told Jeff to take care of Inioluwa and her baby.

SHOTS: Most of the shots taken in this movie was close-medium shots. They made use of long shots and on few occasions extreme shots.

LANGUAGE: Yoruba, subtitled in English.

ANGLE: Medium angle was dominant

COSTUME: everyday costume was used

FINALE: The movie had a tragic end, when Josh drank a vial of poison. The story line was unique and well thought out. The acting was professional and very natural. The movie is a lesson to everyone to always have patience before jumping to conclusions.

Plot: The movie is about three friends Tabitha, Pamela, and Peggy. These three friends were in search of white rich men. Tabitha ended up with two white rich men and married them. Pamela, after she got dumped by her black fiance, started her own search for a white man because she did not want to feel left out as some of her friends were all married to rich white men. She ended up with a 73 year old white rich British man who was known as a loner that drove his first and second wife to their suicide. Peggy ended up with an Indian, garlic eating man that she herself was disgusted with.


MY REVIEW:
It is not the greatest script movie but it is a very realistic movie.
It's about girls trying to hunt for oyibo men by any means necessary because they think its their meal ticket. Funke (with only secondary education under her belt) competes with Mercy Johnson and Ini Edo characters for oyibo men.
Funke's character searched and searched and searched but to no avail until she found herself a GARLIC EATING INDIAN MAN WITH A TURBAN ON HIS HEAD (she met him in a grocery store and pursued him).
Mercy's character had me in stitches with her new found white love as she competes with Ini's character - a 73 yr old man using walking stick - this is what i mean by "By any Means Necessary".
All the white actors acting in this movie was NOT GOOD as expected. They were so fake. The most irritating "white man" in the movie was that "British old man" that Mercy johnson's Character (Pamela) got. It's not like there are no real white men in Nigeria that will be glad to act movie, knowing that white people have a thing for adventures. Apart from the fact that it teaches us lessons, the acting was poor. I did not even believe that Ini Edo will act that kind of movie. Even the sounds were not properly edited.


CAMERA SHOTS: It was dominantly Close-up medium shots. There was also long shots. This was seen at the scene of the party Tabitha threw for her second white husband.

THE REVIEW (PLOT SUMMARY)
The movie starts started in a restaurant where Asunmo(Baba suwe) met kikelomo(funke Akindele) who came to eat and he immediately fell in love wit her and wanted her as his wife. He was already a married man with so many kids as he referred to as his wife (Iyabo Odukanmi) as a pig because anytime he mates with her she gets pregnant. His wife a middle aged woman was already worn out due to him and he decided to get a fresh blood according to him whom he found in Funke Akindele.
Unfortunately, Funke Akindele didnt like him but decided to play along and she told him a lie that she will like to finish her education before she can get married to him and baba suwe decided to sponsor her education because of the love he had for her.She continued to post him whenever he decides to get her back on the floor but she did a great work in embezzling hige sums of money from him. He went to the extent of getting an english teacher because he wanted to live up to the standard of the girl and instead of learning he ended up messing it up and speaking blunders instead of good english all around the place.
Baba suwe then decided to chase his wife out of his house and the kids but employs one of his sons as his body guard who moves around with him carrying guns.(we see this when he went for funke akindele's birthday).
After this Asunmo as he is stage name in the movie was called he decided to go fetish when he saw that funke akindele(kike) was trying to play a smart one on him and the Man who he went to consult also was a fake one and gave him a powder telling him that he should put it on his face early in the morning then he should go and see her first thing in the morning which he did but he met her sister instead and it worked on the sister who fell pity for him and urged her sister(funke Akindele)to go and see him(baba suwe) outside.
concluding, she ended up not marrying him but running with his tenant (bayo)femi Adebayo who at the end didnt marry her because baba suwe coincidentally came for the marriage and he fainted on sighting her and Baos parent didnt consent to the marriage the film ended with a fade out transition.

CINEMATOGRAPHY
Shots: The long shot, medium shot, close up for reference purpose, (for reference purpose in the scene where baba suwe was in the house of his english teacher pa kasunmu),extreme close up shot(camera was focused on the fake 50cent chain he was wearing)were used, however there seems to be a inclination for medium shots, because they were mostly used almost in all scenes of the movie.
Angle: Medium angle was foremost in the movie almost all through
Transition: As there was no reason for flashback or whatsoever fade in and out was the transition mostly present. In linking the scenes also fade in and fade out was mostly dominant infact that was what was used as the equipment for transition in the movie.
Camera Movement: The dolly was made use of for outstanding performance in movement of the camera there was no crane used at all in the film.
Camera Speed: Medium camera speed was maintained throughout the movie.
Costume: Done by Nike Awonowo and Laide Isiaka. The normal Day-to-day costume was used in the movie since it has a contemporary setting however emphasis was also made on the boss kidnapper to show his position of authority.
Make Up: Straight make up was used throughout the movie. Done by Regina Chukwu, Adejoke Adeola.
REFLECTIONS
I was actually impressed at the use of the house that baba suwe used in the film, the setting of the house was very good a very beautiful house portraying Nigeria as a country with good houses,also all actors did their parts very well with perfection. But one of the mistakes i noticed was the fact that the club they pretended they where using for kike's birthday (Funke akindele) birthday was actually somebody's sitting room which was very obvious because of the difference in the chairs used in the club. Some of the chairs where white while some where blue which where dining table chairs. Also baba suwe's dressing was very good i was very impressed with the calibre of clothes he was wearing in the movie as most of them where imported Also during the introduction of the casts at the end of the movie,there was a mistake where Asunmo sister was also introduced as asunmo's sister without them revealing her name. Apart from these three, I can say the movie was splendid It was a great one.
FINALE
Personally I believe the climax of the movie was when baba suwe(babatunde Omidina) got to see that the lady funke akindele that he has been spending all his money and he even neglected his wife and children for was going to get married to his tenant and that has been going on and he didnt know and what made me surprised was the fact that they even kept it from the audience and we didnt know ourselves.

Two princesses, very different; one blends into the society well and rather unnoticed, the other wears costumes in the name of royal outfits with her body guards all over the place 24-7; one is bossy and overbearing, the other well, let’s just say she’s got a hang on the whole royalty “thingy”. One federal university, different people from different backgrounds… Then the “bluebloods” become friends.
“Don’t scream! It’s not ladylike... now; True leadership is a reflection of humility and the meekness of your spirit” “… You are a princess. Blue-bloods are not supposed to be caught bantering words with commoners”…. The movie works “ok” because it teaches proper manners but then some parts go on for too long.
The sound quality is generally alright but external noise interrupts some parts especially where the location is outdoors. The picture quality is A-ok! Nicely shot. I cannot fault any of the acting but ultimately where it failed is the fluidity of the story and character development. They were just throwing in new angles at every opportunity and part of it simply did not make sense to me.
The movie also works a little because it builds suspense from the beginning but the end was rather disappointing because some part of the story line were not clear. Then just when I think I know what will come next, they throw something else in and leave us the viewers unsure of why and how what happened, happened… you dig? Ok, for instance, Chimamanda (Nse Ikpe Etim) is sad that she left her family but she still goes ahead to marry chief when she originally thinks that even the thought is disgusting. Plus, Princess Oluchi (Ini Edo) and Onyema (Yemi Blaq) had not met before the nasty encounter at the Library (well, you have to watch it to understand don’t you?) and then the next thing we know, they are a couple. I personally didn’t like the way it ended probably because i had higher expectations (as per Yemi Blaq and Nse Etim were in the movie) except of course as usual there is a part two…
Two stars out of five!!! No thumbs-up or thumbs-down, probably just thumbs-in-between.
